Caroline Pidgeon, the Liberal Democrat leader on the GLA, has just passed on this advance warning from Transport for London about part closure of the Jubilee Line between Finchley Road and London Bridge on Sunday 1 July.
"In order to ensure that
Jubilee line infrastructure is as reliable possible during the Olympic and
Paralympic Games, London
Underground is replacing a number of points on the Jubilee line. Some of this
work has already been taking place on the east of the line - mainly during
engineering hours and also through slightly later starts on a number of
Sundays. In addition there will be a one-day part closure between Finchley Road and London Bridge
on Sunday 1 July to allow for points replacement."
